Mammoths - Electrical Guitars - Invisible Cities 

This 10 minute solo portrays themes that are all over the map. And that is the idea. How the mind wonders from one place to the next. How you live and experience your non-reality. It is about the consequences of the habit of daydreaming. How it can inspire and distract you. 

The music is a re-composition of an existing song that Ruud van Alten wrote a while back.The music and dance are osmotically connected with each other, which takes the viewer on a short daydream journey.

This solo is a graduation project for both Roby and Lene, initiated by Haya Maëla. Roby has graduated from the internal educational program at Danshuis Haarlem and Lene has graduated from the Bachelor of Dance at ArtEZ, both in July 2021.

A special thanks to Marieke Dedding and Erwin Stringer for letting us use their beautiful apartment as a performance location.
